For the Burson’s DL Energy installed a 5.4kW (DC) system on their home reducing their annual energy bills by more than 70%. Since the Burson’s have Spanish “S” tile on their roof DL Energy used extended support posts on the racking system to insure proper ventilation under the array and we also incorporated a double flashing design to insure against roof leaks.

Located in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. The Evans’s home is supplied with a 42 kW solar power system. The system is using an 192 Kyocera brand modules which are rated at 210 watts each. Since the system is too large to mount on the house, the system has been set up on a hill side next to the home. The land where the panels are installed have been cleared of a few non native trees in order to offer the solar array unobstructed access to direct sunlight for optimal efficiency. For this project, we are using a SMA 42 kW Sunny Tower inverter to feed the homes main electrical panel.
